Dear Sooz,
I just wanted to take a minute and thank you for helping to make Tony's and Kay's wedding so wonderful. As we look through the pictures we are reminded of the beautiful setting and your graciousness. We will never forget our visit to Hawaii and it is our hope to come back again. Thank you again.
Sincerely,
Karen Reichmouth (Mother of the Bride)

Hi Sooz,
We are back in Anchorage and seem to be settling back to our normal routine. I just wanted to let you know how pleased we were with the wedding at your lovely home. I feared that once I got to Oahu I would see or hear of other wedding sites that I would have liked to consider but I never did. We couldn't have been more pleased. Your recommendations for the harpist, florist and also the photographer were the best. …Anyway, I could go on and on, but wanted to thank you for all you did in helping to make our daugher's wedding day the special day that it was. God bless you in all your endeavors.

Dear Sooz and Helpers,
We wanted to thank all of you for helping us have our dream wedding. The day was beautiful — almost as if ordered. All of our closest family and friends came to see us get married at the beautiful Bayer Estate. Thank you for all your hard work — the grounds were gorgeous, the flower arrangements spectacular. Everything was perfect.
Sooz, you were an absolute joy to work with and we appreciate everything you did!! Thanks again.
Love,
Warren & Coreen Hankey

Sooz and family,
I can't tell you how many times we've thought of you, the Bayer Estate, and our magical day, April 11th, in the past few months. You made everything perfect and we sincerely could not have asked for anything more. I could go on about the details and ambience, but if you remember me and my family then you already know how much we appreciate it...but I wanted to let you know how much more we've come to love the day you gave us. My Mom passed away in early June... and so our perfect, magical day has come to mean even more to us than we could have imagined. So I wanted to thank you. To really thank you, because you, your setting, your style (which you know Mom loved), your welcoming personality, are more than we could have asked for. Thank you.
With love and so much gratitude,
Stacey & Ryan

Sooz & Family,
A belated thanks for a magnificent time at our wedding on June 25th. Everything was absolutely perfect & we loved it! It was also a pleasure coordinating everything with you before the wedding. We will always have wonderful memories of our wedding, in large part due to the Bayer Estate.

Dear Sooz,
We cannot thank you enough for helping to make our wedding day so wonderful and memorable! From start to finish, you were kind, helpful, and easy to work with. We loved the flowers and how everything was decorated, all the vendors you recommended were commendable, and you were a relaxed, reassuring presence on the wedding day (thanks for being there!). We wish you the best and hope to get back to Honolulu soon.
Thanks for everything.

Dear Sooz,
Just wanted to say thank you for everything that you did to make our wedding day so special. Everything was so beautiful, amazing, wonderful and just plain perfect. I get emotional just thinking back to that day. I only wish it could have lasted longer — it felt like it went by in the blink of an eye.
Hope you guys and the puppy are all doing well in Hawaii.
Mahalo again,
Janet & Jeff Martin

Dear Sooz,
Tsuyoshi and I would like to thank you for all your help in making our wedding day perfect. The house, the flowers, and all the decorations looked so beautiful, and all the guests felt right at home. Thank you also for your suggestions and recommendations. I don't know how else I would have planned a wedding all the way from Japan.
Warmest regards to you and everyone else at the Bayer Estate who made our wedding unforgettable!
Take care,
Erin & Tsuyoshi Nanekawa

Dear Sooz,
Thank you for the kindness, warmth, generosity of spirit and hospitality you have shown us in the very short time we have known you. The qualities infuse Bayer and remind us that while some places are special in their own right, others become significantly more than the sum of their parts due to the qualities of the people associated with them: Bayer is one such place. We have deeply appreciated your invaluable assistance in creating this very special and beautiful day that we have both long dreamt of.
Warm regards,
Jenne & Shane

Dear Sooz,
We wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our wedding day at the Bayer Estate. It turned out that we had lovely weather that day but it would have been a beautiful setting even with rain, as you had other tasteful options available — "just in case."
Our guests felt instantly comfortable and relaxed on the grounds, as we had hoped, and enjoyed their time inside the charming home as well. Since we couldn't have our wedding in our own home, we were looking for a place that had the same kind of intimate ambience yet with a very festive feel. The appeal of the casual landscaping and strategically-placed flowering plants exceeded our expectations and it even took my breath away when I saw everything in place for our ceremony. It truly is a place that makes you feel like you've gone back in time a bit, to the slower-paced, more graceful Hawaii we used to know — and shouldn't you get to have a little fantasy on your wedding day too?
Thanks again for all you did to make our day such a lovely and memorable one.
Sincerely,
Mark & Robbie

We held a "Pau Hana" reception at the Bayer Estate in honor of our "Ohana" (those consultants and contractors whom we regard as part of Castle & Cooke's extended business "family"), and it was a wonderfully successful event.
This historic property was the perfect setting for our end of the workday gathering. It was relaxing and inviting, and allowed us to express our appreciation to the many companies that have contributed to our company's success. We received several calls and emails from guests for days afterword, exclaiming over what a great time they had.
We thank the Bayer Estate for the gracious hospitality and efforts extended
to make this a memorable occasion for all.

I've travelled all over the world, and in all the places that I've visited,
only a few have that "magic" about them — and this place is obviously
one of them!

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Mirikitani,
The event coordinated by the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce Tasters Committee was an overwhelming success due to the support of companies like yours. We are very fortunate that the Bayer Estate believes in community building and supports the larger community's efforts to enhance the business climate for the benefit of all. Thank you for assisting our Chamber in our goal to promote business at many levels and in many business sectors of Hawaii.
Thank you once again for making this a first-class event.
Sincerely,
Wendy Abe
President of the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce

So much of what people love about Hawaii can be found at the Bayer Estate — the ocean view, the lush tropical foliage, a comfortable, vintage home that evokes images of happy family life — past, present and future. The Mirikitani family created a perfect setting for our scholarship fundraiser. Mahalo from the members of the AARP Women's Leadership Circle-Hawaii.

The East-West Center opened its new Urban Asia Seminar Series
with a scenic and tropical welcome reception at the Bayer Estate for
an international guest list that included high level government leaders,
policymakers and experts from across Asia and the U.S. All were highly
impressed with the beauty and charm of the estate. The warm and relaxing
atmosphere established an instant camaraderie among the seminar participants
and a perfect introduction to why we call Oahu "the gathering place!" Sooz,
her family, and friends were the embodiment of aloha. We would
welcome the opportunity to hold future functions at the Estate and highly
recommend the venue to anyone wanting to create a warm and memorable
atmosphere of aloha.

Dear Sooz,
Thank you! Everyone said they had such a great time at Mom's 64th birthday gathering this past weekend. Mom was deeply touched and told us that it was the best party she has ever had - and it was because of the old style charm and warm feeling there, and being able to spend the day with so many of her family and friends. The Bayer Estate has a beautiful "Old Hawaii" feel — a perfect place to celebrate any occasion — but especially wonderful for honoring Mom in the intimate, relaxing "old style" that we knew she would love.
Mahalo,
Dan and Ann Holt

Dear Sooz,
A belated thank you for all your help and hospitality extended toward our family and guests. Our sons and their friends thought the estate was "awesome". Your seaside location was the perfect setting for Brad's "surf/beach party" theme. And Sean and his friends really enjoyed one of the last opportunities to hang out near the grill and "talk story" with each other before everyone had to split up and leave for college! A great ending before an exciting new beginning for the kids.
Our guests kept exclaiming how beautiful and relaxing the property was - so we hope you will get some new clients through word of mouth news of your place. We wish you continued success in your historic preservation efforts and bringing back the "old style" of gathering.
Mahalo,
The Kanegawa family
